How to Earn 10 Dollars Per Day from Adsense in 2015

Most of the bloggers try Google Adsense as one of the first money making program in their career. For some, still it works good and remain as their main income source, including me.  It is really a great, hassle free and solid CPC (Cost Per Click) money making program you can try without any issues. Unfortunately it’s not so easy now and it’s not working as how it used to work 5 years ago. Things have changed, readers are smart enough to know which one is advertisement and which one is your link. If really they do not have interest and intention to click  ads, as bloggers we do not have much option and control.  Making 10 dollars daily from Adsense should be the first target for any new bloggers to achieve.  Here I discuss and show you how to make 10 dollars per day from Adsense.
This post was firstly published on FEBRUARY 17, 2011, and updated 14th January 2015.
There are specific requirements I will be suggesting below based on my 6 years experience with Google Adsense. I’m not going to say how to create a website to make 10 dollars per day or how to select the topic for that.  I’m going to say what are the requirements to make 10 dollars per day from your existing blog (or even the new blog you are going to start) from Google Adsense.
Before dive deep in to the matter, see the below screenshot.

You must be say ‘Wow’  by now, that’s right. 1 click brings more than 10$, it is from my Google analytics dashboard. That indicates Google Adsense still works and there are high potential topics/keywords in the market which can bring higher CPC earnings.  So your task should be very easy in making 10$ per day from Adsense.
This is the power of Google Adsense. Your blog’s topic and traffic source country play major roles in the Adsense earnings, I will be covering them below.

Understand The Terms

There are few measurements in Google Adsense, like CTR (Click Through Rate), CPC ( Cost Per Click) and RPM ( Revenue per Thousand impressions). CTR and CPC are individual factor while RPM is a collective measurement.  That means, if you are getting good CPC and CTR, you will have a good RPM. In other case if you have a good CPC but very bad CTR, then the RPM will be less. So, RPM is the ultimate factor to see whether your blog is doing good with Google Adsense ( of course you must consider increasing the CPC and CTR all the time which will directly increase the RPM).
So, what is RPM?  it means how much money your blog  is making from 1000 page views .
If you are making 8$ from 2000 Page views daily, then your RPM is 4$ ( 8 x 1000/2000).  We will be connecting the RPM and discuss how to make 10 dollars from Adsense below.  The RPM can be different for each type of blog, for example, technology, news, entertainment, free stuff, financing and education etc.… blogs will have different RPM ( because the CPC and CTR would be different for each blogs).
I would say 3.5$ RPM is reasonable and you should target more than that. If you are making 2 to 3 $ RPM, then you should spend more time to increase the RPM to 3.5$ or more dollars.

The Math to Earn 10 Dollars per Day from Adsense

So, if we assume 3.5$ RPM, you will make 3.5$ from every 1000 Page views daily.  To get 10$ per day from Adsense , let us multiply this by 3 (even though it will reach 10.50$) to get 10$ round figure per day. That means, your blog has to generate 3000 page views per day to make 10$ per day from Google Adsense.
Is it a difficult job to make 3000 page views per day?…It will look tough for any new bloggers and even for the old bloggers who are struggling generate the good traffic for their blogs.
Let me break down the 3000 Page Views per day like below,
  • 30 articles on your blog which can generate 100 PVs per day
  • 60 articles which can generate 50 PVs per day
  • 120 articles which can generate 25 PVs per day.
Do you think article numbers are increasing, then how about this?
  • 15 articles which can generate 200 PVs per day,
  • OR just 3 killer articles which can generate 1000 PVs per day.
It’ your decision to target a suitable scenario for you.
At the end we need genuine 3000 page views daily to make 10 dollars per day from Google Adsense assuming the RPM is 3.5$ and very importantly your blog is meeting following requirements.

Other Factors to Decide on How to Earn 10 Dollars per Day from Adsense

1) Your niche and keywords are very important.

Your blog should have high or reasonably paying keywords. Though we can’t say what is the best CPC amount, but I would say you should make sure your average CPC is higher than 0.25$.  If you are targeting higher CPC keywords, then this rate will be higher so the RPM too. In my experience anything related to ‘Free’ will not bring good CPC.
higher paying adsense cpc

You do not need to start a blog or straightaway target these keywords to increase the Adsense CPC ( it is very tough actually), but you can get an idea which topic can bring good CPC to make 10 dollars from Adsense per day by seeing above image.
Google adwords keyword planner is another free resource to find out the CPC of your relevant keyword. I have already published a guide in below link, highly recommended to read this post.

2) Your blog may require around 2100 PVs via search engines daily.

Organic traffic is very important to make money from Adsense.  Assuming the average search engine traffic for a blog should be somewhere around 70%. So out of our required 3000 PVs per day, the 70% is 2100 PVs.
You must make sure around 70% of your daily traffic is coming via search engines. Because these are the users new for your blog and may click yours ads.

3) Use above the fold ad placement

No matter how many ads you are using in your blog, make sure at least one ad is placed above the fold. ‘Above the fold’ is the place a visitor sees without scrolling down in internet browser. I think the ads with 300×250 or 336×260 size below the head line and above (or wrapped by) the content works better for higher CTR and RPM.
image
Google serves high paying ads to the ad slot which is loading first in a blog. So, make sure to utilize this ad slot well to earn your 10 dollars daily from Adsense.

4) Geographical Traffic Source is Very Important

Even if your blog is meeting above all requirements, but not getting the readers from specific countries (where normally CPC and Adsense ads are different and highly targeted), then the CPC will be less and your intention to make 10$ per day would not be achieved.  Clicks from some countries, like USA, Canada, UK, Australia pay much higher than other south Asian countries. So, even if your blog is getting 3000 PVs from Google daily, but the majority of  traffic is coming from south Asian countries, then I doubt you will get the 3.5$ RPM rate.
So, target a topic which can attract all readers from around the world.

2100 daily visits via search engines can be different for each blog depending on the content, ad placement and niche/keyword selection. If you have high paying keywords and getting good search engine traffic from around the world ( mainly USA), then may be two or three clicks will be enough to earn 10 dollars daily.
Whatever I have mentioned here is just an estimate to understand the requirement to make 10 dollars per day from Adsense.
Do share your thoughts about this estimate. If you are making daily 10 dollars from Adsense, do compare your state and share your opinion below.

A Different Strategy To Make Money Online

http://www.onmoneymaking.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/money-for-writing.jpg

The majority of people use either Adsense or Affiliate Marketing to make money online because it is easy and cheap to setup. Most quit after a while because they’re too lazy to do it but there’s a smaller group of people that for one reason or another don’t fully identify with any of these methods and try to find another way. This post is for those people, it shows there’s in fact a different way and how to achieve it.

For me one of the problems I had with the traditional methods was that I just couldn’t stand doing all the hard work of generating traffic to my website, just to have visitors go away through a sly ad (and make $0.20 per click) or through an affiliate link.

A Strategy For Different People

I was not satisfied with these traditional methods so I set to find a strategy that allowed me to be open about making money but at the same time doing something valuable that truly helped people and felt more real to me. We are all different, why should we do the same things, the same way like everyone else?

What I found is a combination of methods that work for me and before I explain you what the strategy is I would just like to say that this strategy is not for everyone, it’s a different strategy for different people, it’s not better or worse, it just requires a different mindset then the one you’re probably used to.

Membership Websites

After a lot of research I started learning about recurring revenue and information products such as step-by-step courses or other valuable content and suddenly it all made sense. I imagined a blog with plenty of free information about a niche and then a special part that people would pay to access. This special part would contain a course about a a specific topic in the niche plus a support system where people personally asked me questions and a forum to create a community feeling and increase the value.

Basically, I would sell a product (the course) and a service at the same time (the forum and the support) and use the blog and other marketing techniques to attract people.

I then figured out that a type of these websites already existed and had a name. They were called content-based membership websites, where members pay to get access to the content on a regular basis.

There are several advantages with content-based membership websites. For once, they allow you to completely focus on the content and the users, building a loyal community of members that are happy to pay you. Plus it’s a great way to make money because it gives you a stable and dependable income that feels like a real business and that’s a motivation factor.

The Strategy

1. Find a Topic That Takes a Long Time To Achieve or One Where There’s An Infinite Need For New Content
Let’s say the topic is for example Improving Your English Pronunciation. This is a good topic because it takes a long time to achieve and members have to practice and get directions regularly. Another good idea would be Photoshop Brushes, because there’s an infinite need for these files.

Some membership websites need more work to be sustained than others. Websites where there’s an infinite need for paid content are harder to maintain but have a longer membership life cycle. Websites like the one about Improving Your English Pronunciation can be setup with a time-limited course but then again, the membership life cycle will not be so long.

2. Build an E-Mail List of Interested People (Before Creating The Paid Content Itself!)
The best way to do this is by using a combination of marketing tactics like guest posting, blog commenting, forum posting and social media, all connecting to an e-mail opt-in list. You would use content marketing as the encompassing strategy and your blog as your marketing hub, creating free high quality content about your niche and posting it there.

For example, if your topic is Improve Your English Pronunciation, you can write free content about your niche which would be something around Learning English. Your blog is the the hub of all your free content and your e-mail list the way to communicate with your followers.

3. Create an Engaging Premium Section (The Paid Membership Of The Website)
The blog would harness all your free content but the premium section is where you would put all your paid content and other goodies. This can be anything, from step-by-step courses, forums, databases of files or any combination of them, such as a course, a forum and a support system.

Regardless of what your premium section consists, it has to be easy to use and comprehensive enough to be useful.

Also, you shouldn’t worry about completely creating the Premium section before opening the membership doors. Instead, you should just create the first part your members will see and then build the rest from there, using their feedback. For example, if your Premium section is a course, a good strategy is to create one month or so in advance and then build the rest while your members consume what you’ve already created.

4. Launch The Website
When the e-mail list is rocking with subscribers, the blog is full of activity (comments) and the basics of the Premium section is ready, it’s time to put a price tag on it and open doors to your Premium section. This phase is important but its success largely depends on the amount of followers you built in step 2 and your relationship with them.

The idea is to let everybody and their friends know that you’re going to offer something to the world and that they can benefit greatly from it.

5. Automate The Website
Once you have some members and everything is running, you’ll have to find a way to automate the marketing (affiliates, for example) and content delivery (using software). Some websites, like the ones based on a step-by-step course are easier to automate because they don’t need to be fed new content regularly.

The most important is that you keep new members coming, compensating for the members that leave.

Conclusion

Finally, like I said above, this strategy will not work with everyone because it requires a different mindset, but even if doesn’t fit you or your plans, it’s always good to know about new strategies.

Either way I would like to know what you think about this strategy so let me know about it in the comments.

10 Smartest Things You Can Do to Promote Your New Blog

The beginning phase of a new blog is the most fun, isn’t it? You’ve come up with a great idea. You’ve done your research, and you are confident that your new blog idea is going to rock. There’s a market, there are people spending money in that market, and you’ve found your niche. The possibilities are endless; the sky is the limit!

There is infinite appeal to the research phase of creating a new blog. Because as long as you’re laying the groundwork, as long as you’re researching and “finding your niche”, everything exists in a vacuum. But as soon as you launch this sucker, it’s going to get messy!

It’s like the old Chinese saying: “as long as you’re planning a journey, you own the journey. The minute you embark on that journey, the journey owns you.” Plan well, my friends! But don’t forget that in order to succeed, you have to get out there and work it! And that’s what this post is about.

The Importance of Doing it All

Some of us are great idea people. Some of us are great at executing. Some of us are great at design. Some of us are great writers, and some of us are more business-minded. If your ambition is to make your blog a success from a business perspective, it’s important to know that you’re going to have to wear all these hats at one time or another.

I say this because while I’m giving you a list of the 10 Smartest Things You Can Do to Promote Your New Blog, I know that most of you bloggers out there will do some of them…or most of them. But most of you will not do all of them. Reason being, you will find some of them fun and others plain drudgery. Still, I encourage you to do them all. Success comes out of hiding when you’re willing to do the things that others are NOT willing to do. The extra work is always what makes the difference!

Where Your Success has Been Hiding

We can complain about how success has eluded us, but of course complaining accomplishes nothing. It is simply a matter of digging it up, but to do so we simply have to be willing to roll our sleeves up and get our hands dirty. Basically what I’m saying is that if you want to make a lot of money from your blog, you’re going to have to work hard at it!

After 3 years of internet marketing full time and 9 years of sales experience and training over a thousand people to go out and increase their income, I can tell you one thing for sure. If you do the work, the results will come. I promise you! They may not come as quickly as you want, and there will be bumps in the road, and these are the reasons most of us fail. Not because we do not have what it takes. We just quit too soon, and it really is a shame.

Getting Started on the Right Foot

Here’s the deal: start off with an idea of what you want to achieve. Don’t go into your blogging endeavor blind, hoping to be “successful”. Because what the heck does that mean? Perhaps you want to simply share your ideas with the world. Perhaps you want 100k unique visitors every month to feel you’ve accomplished that. Perhaps you prefer to concentrate on income, and your main concern is making $100k next year. OK. This is doable. The point is to be specific.

I want to tell you with as much conviction as I can muster, that you CAN and WILL achieve your blogging goals if you’re willing to do the work to make them happen! Success in this or any field is not a mystical process. It is a predictable and manageable thing that happens as a result of doing what needs to be done over a period of time.

You can check out the Academy course on How To Step Into Your “A Game” for more on how to hack your life to get more done and achieve what you set out for.

I cannot tell you you’ll make a million dollars within 18 months or give you any specific time frames. It doesn’t work like that. What I can tell you unequivocally, without a doubt, is that if you do the work that needs to be done on a daily basis over time, you will be amazed and delighted with your success, and you will see how un-magical it is. Perhaps money doesn’t grow on trees, but it IS out there for the picking.

I’m so excited about the opportunities that blogging presents us as business owners, and I hope that you follow this list and let me know how it goes!
  1. Write a daily action plan: Every promotion plan requires daily action. Now, the size of your goals and how quickly you want to achieve them will weigh heavily on what daily activities you want to write into your plan. But it’s very important to have this written up and have it be something you commit to doing daily. Daily action is key. And your daily action plan has to contain tasks that produce results that will grow your business. Checking your Adsense revenues and reviewing your analytics, for example, while important, do not count. These are administrative tasks that do not directly produce growth. The point of your daily action plan is to write up a specific plan to perform specific actions every day…actions that will bring visitors to your site and grow your business. For example, I make 100 personal contacts daily and write 3 pages of content. I do this every day. Simple. Sometimes very difficult, and I sometimes fail. But it is the gauge I use to measure success on a day-to-day basis. It gives you something to shoot for that you can achieve every day. It should be difficult but doable, and it should contain actions that cause your business to grow.
  2. Go 60 days without tweaking your site: After you get your first design complete, and your site is up, you will be constantly tempted to tweak it. And tweak it. And tweak it. Resist the urge. Make a commitment to launch your blog, and then do nothing but promote the crap out of it for 60 days. Don’t get me wrong. Design is important. But constantly tweaking your site is a distraction. At the beginning you have no community. You’re maybe getting 10, 20, 30 visitors a day. Get out there, network and talk to people. Brand yourself. These things are infinitely more important than making sure your logo looks just right. The ultimate design will come. It will happen, trust me! But if you’ve failed to build your readership, no one is going to care. Likewise, I can point out a lot of very popular blogs with designs that have much to be desired. Do you want to look hot, or do you want to BE hot? I think you see where I’m going with this!
  3. Refuse to place ads: Here’s the thing. Advertising revenue is cool. But when you’re first launching your blog, you have a lot of work to do. Tweaking out different ad modules and trying to optimize your ads for a blog that is going to be making you $10 a month at best is a waste of your time. We’re talking about creating a winning business blog, no? So just skip the advertising business for now. Yes, you can make a few bucks, but the most valuable asset you have right now is your time. Don’t waste it on something that is only going to make you a few bucks. Instead, focus on building a real business and attracting a lot of people. Then, put up ads later if you want; when you’ll actually be able to make enough to make it worth your while!
  4. Pillar content: The concept of pillar content is something I learned from David Risley. When you launch your blog, have an inventory of 20-30 killer article ideas ready to go. Fill your blog up with great content that truly drives home the focus of your blog, attracts targeted visitors and shows your true expertise. You’re laying down the foundation of your business here. Take some real time creating your pillar content. It will attract readers for a long time to come, and it will show your new readers what you’re all about. Put your best foot forward!
  5. Schmooze: In other words, networking is a key business activity. Always has been, always will be. Internet business is a people business, believe it or not. Find the top 20-30 blogs in your space, and get acquainted with them. Read them. Get to know the authors of those blogs. Build relationships with them. Yeah, it takes time. Yeah, it takes persistence. It’s also very much worth it. One word of caution: I’m not talking about just blasting these people with spam, asking them to help you out. I’m saying get to know them a bit. You can learn a lot by hanging with people who are already successful in your field.
  6. Link building: Aaron Wall and Andy Hagans over at SEOBook wrote a fantastic article about how to build links. I recommend reading their article several times and implementing these link building tactics into your daily routine. The art and science of link building of course is beyond the scope of this post, but link building HAS to be mentioned, because it’s a fundamental activity for anyone who hopes to build a successful business blog.
  7. Blog and forum commenting: Anyone familiar with blogs is familiar with the activity of leaving comments on blogs. This is an essential activity for anyone building a presence online. Blogs and forums offer you a tremendous opportunity to become part of the conversation. Don’t wreck it by being over-promotional, leaving keywords instead of your actual name or any other spam-type activities. Just use your real name, leave insightful and helpful comments and genuinely participate.
  8. Respond to your readers: I’m consistently surprised by how many internet business owners do not respond to messages or personally respond to comments. If it’s not your priority, OK. I just don’t know why it wouldn’t be. There’s a lot to be said about following the basics. In other words, check your email! And be responsive and appreciative to your audience. Every minute you spend interacting on a personal level with your readers is well-spent.
  9. Immediately begin building an email list: From day one, make sure you have an opt-in box and encourage your visitors to sign up for an email list. There is an argument for waiting until you have more traffic, but I say that an email list of 10 people is way more exciting than you might realize. Think about how cool this is…people are finding value in what you do! Seriously, open the door to communication by email right out of the gate. Don’t wait. The sooner you begin conversing with people this way, the sooner you’ll see that it’s a great way to maintain a dialog with your readers. You will get comments, criticism and helpful insights that you wouldn’t otherwise get. Email is old school I suppose, but it’s here to stay, and it’s still the way most users prefer to subscribe.
  10. Use the Power of 100 Rule: Coming originally from direct sales, I learned a rule from other top performers that has always served me well. I’ve gotten away from it over the last couple years, but I’ve recently gotten back into the habit of practicing this rule, and it works like a charm. It’s very simple. Make 100 personal contacts a day. Sending a personal email (not bulk email), responding to a message, a phone call, leaving a thoughtful blog comment, etc. Personal contacts…100 of them…every day. It often forces you to not watch TV, because you still have 35 more contacts to make before you go to bed. It’s a mechanism that gets your priorities straightened out without you even having to think about it. Practiced over time, you will be pleasantly surprised at how much business comes your way as a result of practicing the Power of 100. Bottom line: be social. The internet business really is a people business.
Bonus: Invest in your business. If you want big results, you need to take big action. One of the biggest things I’ve done that has expanded my network and enabled me to truly get my business off the ground is something that many internet marketers and bloggers do not consider. Travel. Conferences. Meeting people in person. Getting to know people and shaking hands with other successful business owners is a very valuable activity.

One trip I took to New York led to several relationships I still have today as well as an exciting affiliate program I’m still running today, three years later. Yes, the trip cost some money, and I came back with an immense hangover, but it has paid for itself many times over and continues to do so.

I do not recall a single networking trip I’ve taken that has not ultimately paid for itself many times over by bringing more business my way. It is this type of investment and commitment to your business that will make it “real” for you. I included it as a bonus, because I honestly feel it may be the most powerful of all. Internet business is real business! It’s not this nebulous process, involving “traffic” and “clicks”. These are people you’re working with and people you’re selling to. In many fundamental respects, business has not changed all that much.

These business basics will serve you well. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that business is simple, and the simple stuff works!

Top Reasons Why AdSense Rejects / Disapproves Accounts

adsense-disapproval

Google's AdSense is the best monetizing source for blogs and websites but the problem is that it is not much easy to get and retain a publisher account with AdSense. Google either doesn't accept blogs and websites easily in their publisher revenue program or accounts are disapproved later when publishers are found violating any TOS of the program. Today we will learn why AdSense rejects accounts and how you can get your AdSense account approved easily for your website or blog.

How to Get Your AdSense Account Approved

Beginner bloggers and website owners apply for AdSense soon after launching their blog or website but most of the times, their account isn't approved by Google. If you are among those and looking for any solution, why AdSense is not approving your account, consider below discussed points and ensure that your online content is perfect for monetizing through AdSense.

Traffic is the Most Essential

If your blog and website have a decent and constant traffic then you must not face any difficulty in getting an AdSense account. When we talk about the traffic, another aspect is also necessary to be considered and that is the organic traffic. I see many blogs and website which receive enough traffic but the sources are mostly referral. i.e. social networks. and such sites don't deserve for AdSense. While reviewing the application, Google critically looks over your content that either it receives targeted traffic or not.

Here, you may ask that why Google looks for organic traffic. The answer is simple, AdSense promotes products of advertisers and your blog will be able to get success with AdSense only if it receives interested customers. i.e. targeted traffic from search engines. So before applying for AdSense, ensure that your blog or website is receiving most traffic from search engines.

Niche Also Decides the Success With AdSense

When we talk about the success with AdSense, two factors are important. First, the niche decides how much you can earn with AdSense. With some niches, you earn good with AdSense and with some other, the earnings remain low. In addition to earnings, the niche also decides either AdSense accepts your blog or website in its program or not. For example, if you have a website at which visitors can watch movies and videos, then you can't monetize it through AdSense.

Website / Blog Template Layout May Also Make a Difference

Where templates play important role in defining CTR of your ads, they are also crucial in getting an AdSense account approved. If the layout of your blog or website is clean, navigation is well structured and search engines can easily parse all the content, then AdSense will show more relevant ads and your earnings will remain high. Additionally, poorly designed blogs and websites may fail to get even an approved AdSense account. So to get and retain AdSense, ensure that your blog or website's design and structure is good.

Adult Content is Prohibited

In TOS of AdSense, it has been declared that you can't monetize any adult online content with AdSense. It doesn't mean that only adult sites are not eligible to get AdSense, but if your content has Google banned words, it may create hurdles in approval of your AdSense account or you may lose the account after approval. While writing content, ensure that you are not using any of these words. Also strictly moderate comments to keep bad words away from your site. In addition, give links to external sites wisely. A single link to any adult or illegal website can snatch AdSense account from you.

Don't Try to Trick Google

Google is extremely smart, so never try to trick it. Many publishers try to boost their earnings by unethical practices but as a result, they lose their AdSense account. Only focus quality in your content. Where low quality content is discouraged by visitors, AdSense also doesn't like it. Fruitless websites and blogs are rejected by AdSense. So despite of trying to trick Google, work harder to develop your online content. You will get success in long run. Good luck!

Pendapatan melalui blog

TERDAPAT pelbagai cara untuk pemilik blog menjana pendapatan melalui blog. - Gambar hiasan

Things make Google Success… Are We?

Ten things we know to be true

We first wrote these “10 things” when Google was just a few years old. From time to time we revisit this list to see if it still holds true. We hope it does—and you can hold us to that.

  1. Focus on the user and all else will follow.

Since the beginning, we’ve focused on providing the best user experience possible. Whether we’re designing a new Internet browser or a new tweak to the look of the homepage, we take great care to ensure that they will ultimately serve you, rather than our own internal goal or bottom line. Our homepage interface is clear and simple, and pages load instantly. Placement in search results is never sold to anyone, and advertising is not only clearly marked as such, it offers relevant content and is not distracting. And when we build new tools and applications, we believe they should work so well you don’t have to consider how they might have been designed differently.
  2. It’s best to do one thing really, really well.

We do search. With one of the world’s largest research groups focused exclusively on solving search problems, we know what we do well, and how we could do it better. Through continued iteration on difficult problems, we’ve been able to solve complex issues and provide continuous improvements to a service that already makes finding information a fast and seamless experience for millions of people. Our dedication to improving search helps us apply what we’ve learned to new products, like Gmail and Google Maps. Our hope is to bring the power of search to previously unexplored areas, and to help people access and use even more of the ever-expanding information in their lives.
  3. Fast is better than slow.

We know your time is valuable, so when you’re seeking an answer on the web you want it right away–and we aim to please. We may be the only people in the world who can say our goal is to have people leave our website as quickly as possible. By shaving excess bits and bytes from our pages and increasing the efficiency of our serving environment, we’ve broken our own speed records many times over, so that the average response time on a search result is a fraction of a second. We keep speed in mind with each new product we release, whether it’s a mobile application or Google Chrome, a browser designed to be fast enough for the modern web. And we continue to work on making it all go even faster.
  4. Democracy on the web works.

Google search works because it relies on the millions of individuals posting links on websites to help determine which other sites offer content of value. We assess the importance of every web page using more than 200 signals and a variety of techniques, including our patented PageRank™ algorithm, which analyzes which sites have been “voted” to be the best sources of information by other pages across the web. As the web gets bigger, this approach actually improves, as each new site is another point of information and another vote to be counted. In the same vein, we are active in open source software development, where innovation takes place through the collective effort of many programmers.
  5. You don’t need to be at your desk to need an answer.

The world is increasingly mobile: people want access to information wherever they are, whenever they need it. We’re pioneering new technologies and offering new solutions for mobile services that help people all over the globe to do any number of tasks on their phone, from checking email and calendar events to watching videos, not to mention the several different ways to access Google search on a phone. In addition, we’re hoping to fuel greater innovation for mobile users everywhere with Android, a free, open source mobile platform. Android brings the openness that shaped the Internet to the mobile world. Not only does Android benefit consumers, who have more choice and innovative new mobile experiences, but it opens up revenue opportunities for carriers, manufacturers and developers.
  6. You can make money without doing evil.

Google is a business. The revenue we generate is derived from offering search technology to companies and from the sale of advertising displayed on our site and on other sites across the web. Hundreds of thousands of advertisers worldwide use AdWords to promote their products; hundreds of thousands of publishers take advantage of our AdSense program to deliver ads relevant to their site content. To ensure that we’re ultimately serving all our users (whether they are advertisers or not), we have a set of guiding principles for our advertising programs and practices:
    • We don’t allow ads to be displayed on our results pages unless they are relevant where they are shown. And we firmly believe that ads can provide useful information if, and only if, they are relevant to what you wish to find–so it’s possible that certain searches won’t lead to any ads at all.
    • We believe that advertising can be effective without being flashy. We don’t accept pop–up advertising, which interferes with your ability to see the content you’ve requested. We’ve found that text ads that are relevant to the person reading them draw much higher clickthrough rates than ads appearing randomly. Any advertiser, whether small or large, can take advantage of this highly targeted medium.
    • Advertising on Google is always clearly identified as a “Sponsored Link,” so it does not compromise the integrity of our search results. We never manipulate rankings to put our partners higher in our search results and no one can buy better PageRank. Our users trust our objectivity and no short-term gain could ever justify breaching that trust.
  7. There’s always more information out there.

Once we’d indexed more of the HTML pages on the Internet than any other search service, our engineers turned their attention to information that was not as readily accessible. Sometimes it was just a matter of integrating new databases into search, such as adding a phone number and address lookup and a business directory. Other efforts required a bit more creativity, like adding the ability to search news archives, patents, academic journals, billions of images and millions of books. And our researchers continue looking into ways to bring all the world’s information to people seeking answers.
  8. The need for information crosses all borders.

Our company was founded in California, but our mission is to facilitate access to information for the entire world, and in every language. To that end, we have offices in more than 60 countries, maintain more than 180 Internet domains, and serve more than half of our results to people living outside the United States. We offer Google’s search interface in more than 130 languages, offer people the ability to restrict results to content written in their own language, and aim to provide the rest of our applications and products in as many languages and accessible formats as possible. Using our translation tools, people can discover content written on the other side of the world in languages they don’t speak. With these tools and the help of volunteer translators, we have been able to greatly improve both the variety and quality of services we can offer in even the most far–flung corners of the globe.
  9. You can be serious without a suit.

Our founders built Google around the idea that work should be challenging, and the challenge should be fun. We believe that great, creative things are more likely to happen with the right company culture–and that doesn’t just mean lava lamps and rubber balls. There is an emphasis on team achievements and pride in individual accomplishments that contribute to our overall success. We put great stock in our employees–energetic, passionate people from diverse backgrounds with creative approaches to work, play and life. Our atmosphere may be casual, but as new ideas emerge in a café line, at a team meeting or at the gym, they are traded, tested and put into practice with dizzying speed–and they may be the launch pad for a new project destined for worldwide use.
  10. Great just isn’t good enough.

We see being great at something as a starting point, not an endpoint. We set ourselves goals we know we can’t reach yet, because we know that by stretching to meet them we can get further than we expected. Through innovation and iteration, we aim to take things that work well and improve upon them in unexpected ways. For example, when one of our engineers saw that search worked well for properly spelled words, he wondered about how it handled typos. That led him to create an intuitive and more helpful spell checker.
Even if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for, finding an answer on the web is our problem, not yours. We try to anticipate needs not yet articulated by our global audience, and meet them with products and services that set new standards. When we launched Gmail, it had more storage space than any email service available. In retrospect offering that seems obvious–but that’s because now we have new standards for email storage. Those are the kinds of changes we seek to make, and we’re always looking for new places where we can make a difference. Ultimately, our constant dissatisfaction with the way things are becomes the driving force behind everything we do.

AdSense Pays Billions Each Year – 6 Tips Away to Getting Your Share

Marketers have more than one potential road to revenue. One of those would be Google’s AdSense, even though a few people have argued at times that it’s a PPC (Pay Per Click) prototype. They claim that it would take several ‘clicks’ to compare to the same revenue you could achieve with a lone affiliate sale. And, that rings a little true.
image
But, not all websites are created for the same purpose, even affiliate programs.
Websites are not always developed for selling a product, such as computer software, or a service, such online backup programs. There are several informative sites also on the Internet, and could be for reviews, or blogs.
Let’s talk about blogs for a moment. A while back I did some work for Joan Mylchreest, creating some backlinking for her website, AllWallDecor.com. She worked for years at an interior design company, until they succumbed to bankruptcy. Joan knew that she could draw from all of her experience working in wall design and create her own Internet business.
Joan, like many other people, had knowledge and experience that was highly sought after. It was her knowledge, not necessarily her labor or products that people wanted. So, she created her own site.

Great and Easy Steps in Getting Started

Before I go any further, I would like to discuss how easy it is to create a quality website, with WordPress. You can build your own professional site with the multitude of plugins and themes they offer, easily.
Plugins from WordPress will allow you to optimize your site with perks such as contact forms for readers to communicate with you, as well as ad management and imaging.
These will not only allow for an easy development of your site, but also help significantly in maintaining it. Take for example the ad management plugin…ads that expire will be automatically dropped from your site. This means you won’t have to waste valuable time in doing it manually.
Many of their options will help you with time management, allowing you to dive into other areas that require your attention. Think of the time you can spend on creating quality content, if you aren’t tied to basic maintenance issues with your site.
For beginners to the experienced, WordPress is there to show you how to create a website that will make you proud.

Affiliate Products Not Always Enhanced with a Wide Reach

When someone considers working with SEO, they need to keep in mind the use of their keyword, or keyword phrase. Placing it directly in the domain name is ideal. An example would be Joan’s keyword phrase, which is ‘wall décor’. That is a very broad term, considering that it could be wallpaper, paintings, mirrors, and just about anything that might be considered wall décor, even if you don’t.
My point is that with a wide-reaching keyword, or keyword phrase, it can bring in a large variety of people searching for a particular product. This isn’t necessarily going to bring a lot of benefit to you, if you are selling an actual item, or service.

The Flip Side of That Coin…

If your site is an informative site, such as review or blogs, then you might be interested in bringing this amount of traffic to it, especially if you utilize AdSense. They soak it up and bring loads of traffic with it, especially if the content is high quality. In fact, the more pages, the better. AdSense advertisers love the opportunities that multiple, high quality pages can bring their way.
It’s a fairly simple process. AdSense scans pages for the keywords, or keyword phrases which have been purchased by advertisers, and in turn could bring them more business. And, if your content is well-written, the keywords can be easily placed with a natural flow.
However, if you want to take it up a notch, read on…

Take Your Website up a Notch for Maximum Results

Anytime you want to create, or update your website, each page should be looked at carefully, regardless of what type of your site is…informative, or sales. Google can do some amazing things for your site, such as boost your ranking and profits from advertising. However, the following tips can boost your chances even more:
  1. Place your keyword, or keyword phrase, directly within your page title.
  2. Include your keyword/phrase in the meta description. This description is often placed by Google directly below your link, so focus on creating a special write up (160 characters) that will catch the eye of your targeted audience. If you don’t create your own, Google will simply take the first 160 characters from your original content.
  3. Headlines are important enough to warrant special attention. Place your keyword phrase in your h1, h2, as well as h3 tags.
  4. Google has the capability of sending traffic your way based on your images as well. So, place your keyword/phrase into the alt text of your images so they can direct the appropriate audience to your site.
  5. Keyword placement is important. It has to be natural, but effective. It should be placed relatively quickly (within first 90 characters), and also in the last paragraph. If the content is written well, it could also be within the body, in a natural flow. However, be careful to not go over 2% density.
  6. Linking, both Internal and external will help with the Search Engine Results Page (SERP). An anchor text with keyword can lead traffic to an outside site. You can also direct traffic to another page in your own site, with an internal link.
These tips might sound simple. But, that’s because they are. Google is there to help you with ranking and profits from AdSense, if you just follow the basic tips I shared above.
If I could say just one more thing, it would be that even if you don’t want to get involved with AdSense, make sure you pay close attention to your keyword placement, and quality of content. If are selling a specific product or server, yet the keyword is too broad, you are opening the door to unnecessary traffic…and potentially lots of it.
Now that you know my take on it all, hopefully it will help you to bring your site to new levels.
